If the island is named after these fluffy flowers, it is because in winter (from January to February), these little yellow balls bloom in abundance. The artisanal cookie factory <em>&#8220;Les Petits Cagniotes&#8221;<\/em> even offers you mimosa marshmallows!<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-bleu-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-bleu-background-color has-background is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To get there, take the famous <strong>Gois passage<\/strong>. This road is submersible on high tide days, so beware! Ask about the schedule before you use it.<br\/>In case of high tide, the bridge of Noirmoutier will allow you to reach the island easily.<br\/>After this crossing, you are in the heart of <strong>Barb\u00e2tre<\/strong> and its forest of maritime pines. This small corner of the island offers beautiful walks in the heart of a preserved nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Noirmoutier, the beautiful summer weather will allow you to enjoy <strong>superb<\/strong> fine sandy <strong>beaches<\/strong>.
